Analysis of CationsII

The document describes tests to analyze cations in an unknown salt. It outlines 6 groups of cations and tests to identify them using precipitation reactions with reagents like HCl, H2S, and NH4OH. It also provides analyses of specific cations like confirming Fe3+, Al3+, Zn2+, and Mn2+. The specimen report analyzes an unknown salt (Al(NO3)3) through a series of tests and concludes it contains nitrate (NO3-) as the anion and aluminum (Al3+) as the cation.
