INDUSTRY INSTITUTE PARTNERSHIP CELL GUIDELINES FOR INDUSTRIAL TOUR 1. Industrial tour will be allowed for maximum 7 days for the prefinal year students during the winter/summer vacations. 2. Industrial tour for final year students during the semester (who did not opt industrial tour during prefinal year winter/summer vacation) will be allowed two working days for intra-state or three working days for inter-state based on the decision of the Head of the Department 3. Proposal showing the industries and place to be visited shall be prepared one month in advance to the date of actual commencement of the tour and approval obtained. 4. Permission from the industries for the visit by the students shall be obtained 15 days in advance prior to the date of commencement of the tour 5. The parents declaration form from the parents shall be obtained one week before the commencement of the tour. 6. Along with the proposal the following documents should be attached a. Permission letter from the industry with mentioning of date of visit and Number of students & staffs allowed. b. Parents declaration form (Signed by the parent before two week of visit). c. Schedule of the tour should be prepared from the time and date of departure to the time and date of arrival. d. Name list of willing students with signature. e. Separate list of Days scholars & Hostlers signed by deputy warden. f. Permit particulars of the bus, if the mode of journey is by road alongwith tentative route. g. Concession and reservation particulars, if the mode of journey is by rail alongwith tentative route & Railway reservation ticket copy. h. Consent from the staff members who are accompanying i. Intimation of class suspension signed by the Faculty in-Charge of the respective subject. j. Tentative list of expenses to be incurred during the visit and money collected from the students per head. 7. Prior permission from of the hostlers should be submitted to hostel Deputy Warden (Boys & Girls) atleast before two days of the commencement of tour. 8. All the documents for industrial tour should be made ready and approved the Secretary before 6 days from the date of tour.

9. Boarding & lodging arrangement shall be planned well in advance and should be intimated to accompanying staff and head of the Department. Searching of the hotels for stay, after the arrival of the team to the city should be avoided. 10. Smoking & Consuming the Liquor during the visit, any part of travel and stay is strictly prohibited. 11. Members of staff to accompany the students may be fixed as 60:2 with one supporting staff member also. One senior staff must accompany with students during Industrial the tour. Students are requested to obey the instructions of accompanying staff then and there during the tour. 12. Students have to visit the industry with formal dress and shoes compulsorily. 13. Acknowledgement of the visit should be obtained from the industry after visit. 14. Report about the industrial visit should be submitted to the IIP Cell & a copy to respective Department within 15 days of time after Industrial tour. 15. Less than 75 % attendance students are not permitted for industrial tour. 16. Students any Involved in indiscipline activities are not permitted for the Industrial tour. 17. Students who are not willing to visit industries due to health and other personal reasons may be considered by the HoD based on the generosity of the issue. 18. Students who are not going to Industrial Tour should come to the department during the visit period and pursue the academic related activity assigned by the HoD/ Department faculty members. Attendance is compulsory for them during period. 19. Atleast 50 % students of the class should go to Industrial tour ,otherwise visit may be cancelled, based on the decision of Head of the Department
