INDUSTRIAL OUTSTATION TRIP
DEAR PARENTS AND STUDENT Date: 3rd December 2024
This document is shared to clarify details regarding train travel and the 1st day of the trip to ensure that there is no miscommunication or wrong expectations. All parents need to go through this document in detail and sign the CONSENT FORM at the end. All three pages need to be printed and signed. This document needs to be submitted on 4TH December. Any protocol not followed leads to a DOMINO EFFECT - where one event sets off a chain of additional events - this will impact the whole trip experience of the students The main objective of the trip is industry exposure. The student’s industry exposure, along with their safety is of utmost importance to the college and department. Therefore, the following points mentioned below are non- negotiable. 1. The students need to change into industry attire after we check in the hotel. 2. Students need to arrive at the station by 3:00 PM on the 19th January. 3. Do not follow platform numbers shown online. The exact platform number will be shared at 3:00 PM. 4. The travel chosen by you is a sleeper train. Students are responsible for their own belongingness. Management would not be responsible for any misplacement. They must remain alert, pack their bags, and use locks to secure their luggage. 5. Do not share your seats with a non-loyolite. 6. Sit in your assigned seat for the first 3 hours. Switching before TT check is strictly prohibited, and your train seat will be at stake if you change. 7. Students are not allowed to step down from the train during the journey. If a student is found stepping off the train without permission, their parents will be contacted immediately and the student would be sent back from the trip. 8. All music needs to be shut down by 10 PM on the train according to railway police rules. Day 1 – 6:15 to 9:00 → Go to Hotel → check in → freshen up → breakfast → leave for Industrial Visit (IV) 10:00 to 12:30 → Industrial Visit Starts → one part of the industry will be covered 12:30 to 1:30 → lunch 1:30 to 4:00 → Remaining part of the Industry will be visited 4:00 to 7:30 → Sight Seeing and Port 7:30 → Getting back to hotel → fresh up → Dinner → sleep It is important to carry your ID card, which you need to wear in the industry. OTHER INFORMATION WATER DURING THE TRIP: Please note that water IN THE BUS will be provided during the trip. You will have to carry that bottle when you step off the bus for sightseeing or meals. Any water bottles or beverages purchased separately by the student during the trip are their own personal expenses. STUDENT CO-ORDINATORS: Coordinators need to come forward and take an active role in ensuring that the trip is safe, memorable, and hassle-free for everyone. It is important to follow all protocols and instructions during the trip to ensure the safety of all students.
