Koike Aronson now offers a new option for the Versagraph M illennium model machines; the 3D-Link contour plasma bevel cutting attachment. The 3D-Link provides 360 of continuous rotation without wind-up of the plasma torch leads or interconnecting cables. This unit is mounted to the Versagraph M illenniums rigid master carriage, which utilizes A/C servo drives with precision planetary gearboxes and rack & pinion providing unequaled precision and repeatability of the cutting torch. This unit is compatible with Kaliburn Spirit 275a Plasma cutting system.

Portable, Automatic All-Position Gas Cutting Machine Cuts Flat to Multi Plane Surfaces
Designed in cooperation with the ship building industry to meet the need for simple, yet effective plate edge preparation. The Edge-Cut performs high quality single or double bevels without the need for a track. V-Grooves essential to full penetration welds can be performed with just one pass. Ease of setup and constant speed ensure high quality cutting even during long distant cutting. The Koike Snap Valve allows pre-setting of flames to reduce setup time while reducing gas waste.

The Koike IK-72T cuts various types of steel including channel, curved plate and angled steel members. Made of aluminum alloy, the IK-72T is lightweight and easy to use. A graduated bevel collar is provided for beveling. Simply adjust the scale for precise bevel angle.

Koike Aronson / Ransomes AGW Automatic Girth Welder is an automatic system that speeds up construction of field-erected storage tanks. It straddles the shell plates riding on adjustable flanged wheels at operator controlled speeds of 4 to 105 IPM (.102.67 M /min). It can handle plates as thick as 2 inches and tank diameters from 15 feet and up. Available as dual or single sided machines. Each is equipped with welding heads, controls, flux support belts and recovery units so that 3 and 9 oclock welds can be made simultaneously. The Lincoln NA-3 solid state control and welding head fitted with nozzles, wire feed rolls, straighteners and 50 Lbs. (22.7Kg) wire reels for either single or Twin-arc wire are standard. Submerged arc flux belt mechanism ensures retention of the flux at the joint, and efficient recycling of flux. Open arc models are available upon request.

The Koike Aronson/Ransome Single Pass Vertical-Up Welder (VUP) can complete 10-12 vertical seams on a field erected storage tank with 8 tall x 1 thick seams in one work shift. X-Ray quality welds with one operator and one machine. The frame consists of a vertical column mounted on a manual or optional powered carriage and roller assembly that rides on the top edge of the tank shell. Lift controls include up/down switch, high/low speed potentiometers and rapid speed selector that control a variable speed motor that is electronically integrated with the welding control, which automatically adjusts speed to maintain the optimum nozzle to weld puddle relationship. A Lincoln NA-3 head and control is supplied with two K-176 Nozzles for welding with either 3/32 or .120 diameter NR-431 Innershield wire. The NA-3 head is mounted on a free moving slide providing manual lateral adjustment. An air operated bracket supports a articulated copper shoe assembly.

The VUP-M IG is designed for an Open Arc welding process with a gas shield. Bi-Directional welding travel, w/controlled Speed, Self supporting, No additional to mount to plates. All components will be integrated onto the lift column. The column will support all welding equipment, including Power Source and Gas Cylinder.

Koike Aronson / Ransome manufactures a complete line of welding manipulators which maximize both safety and production with load capacities ranging from 150 to 3,000 pounds on each end of the boom. Koike Aronson / Ransome manipulators are a versatile and rugged solution to obtain up to 30 feet of lift and reach to duplicate the function of a highly skilled welder. M anual or powered mobile sub base cars can be included for varying length weldments and procedures.

Turning Rolls

Koike Aronson / Ransome manufactures a complete line of Head and Tail Stock welding positioners which maximize both safety and production, with load capacities ranging from 600 to 240,000 pounds. Our positioners enable full rotation through the horizontal axis powered with constant or variable speeds, especially adaptable to longer structures, to manipulate loads into the most convenient working positions.
