BIM specialists are in high demand which will exceed available resources over the next 20 years. BIM technology is now commonly used in architecture and construction firms worldwide. These firms hire various BIM professionals and experts. In the future, educational institutions may not be able to provide enough qualified candidates, so companies may need to extensively train new employees. This study explores the roles and qualifications of different BIM specializations to clarify their functions for new users and companies adopting this technology.
