1. Copper (II) oxide is added until excess into a beaker filled with
[20 150 cm3] [0.1 2.0 mol dm-3] nitric acid (and is heated)
2. Stir the mixture during heating

carbonate solution.
5. Stir and filter the mixture.
6. Rinse the residue by using distilled water.
