Question 10
When you deploy CA Spectrum in a distributed environment, which factor should you consider?
A. Each SpectroSERVER must be running on the same operating system version.
B. Each SpectroSERVER must be on the same subnet so that they can communicate with each other.
C. Each landscape must contain an identical modeling catalog, containing the model types and their relations.
D. The etc_hosts and the .hostrc file on each SpectroSERVER must contain references to all other SpectroSERVERs
using fully qualified domain names (FQDNs).
Question 11
In a distributed CA Spectrum environment, what is the PRIMARY reason for designating a model as a proxy model?
A. To increase the total model count in CA Spectrum
B. To completely disable event and alarm creation for the proxy model
C. To optimize the efficiency of the distributed SpectroSERVER environment
D. To enable the proxy model to participate in fault isolation on the landscape on which it was modeled as a proxy
Question 12
In a fault-tolerant environment, SpectroSERVER alarm synchronization between a primary and secondary
SpectroSERVER occurs in warm standby mode using:
A. SNMP.
B. Web Services.
C. Global Alarm Service (GAS).
D. SpectroSERVER Application Programming Interface (SSAPI).
Question 13
Which statements about SpectroSERVER failover scenarios and standby modes are TRUE? (Choose two)
A. In cold standby mode, the secondary SpectroSERVER is not running and must be started when the primary
SpectroSERVER fails.
B. In the OneClick Navigation and Content panes, a switch to the secondary SpectroSERVER is indicated by the
yellow border in the interface.
C. In hot standby mode, the secondary SpectroSERVER is actively polling and is available to take over when the
primary SpectroSERVER fails.
D. To configure a secondary SpectroSERVER for warm standby, you need to add the following line to the .vnmrc
file:
is_secondary = TRUE
Question 14
When configuring a redundant OneClick environment, you can (Choose two):
A. enable fault tolerance between the OneClick servers.
B. install multiple instances of OneClick on a single server.

A. edit the menu definition with the same name as the target menu.
B. add a menu item definition with a name that is different to the target menu item name.
C. open the existing custom-menu-config.xml file in the custom folder, edit the file, then cut and paste this file to
the default location.
D. copy the custom-menu-config.xml file from the default location and overwrite the custom-menu-config.xml file
in the custom folder.
Question 16
What can you conclude from the following custom event trap mapping configuration?
1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.5 0x180000 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.5.1.3(1,2)\
1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.5.1.2(4,0)

Question 18
The Management Information Base (MIB) objects that are read to calculate the source of CPU and memory

redirection is the process of using well-known attributes as a pointer, or redirector, to proprietary attributes.
When you use attribute redirection, which factor should you consider?
A. If the MIB object containing the data is a list object, attribute redirection cannot be configured as the source for
the CPU and memory utilization.
B. The device model will not need to be configured after configuring attribute redirection because CA Spectrum
will detect the changes automatically.
C. Generally, when CA Spectrum needs to identify sources for CPU and memory utilization, it first uses CA
proprietary intelligence, followed by attribute redirection and standard intelligence, in that order.
D. Attribute redirection can be configured as the source for CPU utilization by modifying the NRM_CPUUtilAttr and
NRM_CPUModelTypeToRead device model attributes to refer to an appropriate MIB object.
