Complete the tips for making a conference call. Use
these words.
agenda
sms
record
off
on
mute
notes
1 Be on time. Whether youre the leader or just a participant, you
should dial in on time.
2 Distribute an agenda. Then even the quieter participants will
have a chance to prepare to speak.
3 Use a head set . It cuts out distractions and prevents other
people from hearing your conversation.
4 Record your meeting. Either for yourself or to put on the
internet as a podcast for others to hear.
5 Be careful using the mute button. Dont say anything you
wouldnt mind people hearing anyway.
6 Say at the beginning if you need to call off early. Then you
wont disrupt the discussion.
7 Take notes . This will help you to keep focused during the call.
8 Use sms. Its not rude to text your colleagues, or send messages
with Twitter.
