DESCRIPTION

USES
TheAntisolrangeofcuringcompoundsaresprayedontonewlylaid
concretesurfacesandwillnotaffectthenormalsettingactionofthe
concrete.Athinfilmbarrierisformedtoslowdowntherateatwhich
waterevaporatesfromtheconcretesurfaceduringthefirstfewcrucial
daysofcuring.Thisenablesmorewatertobeavailableforthehydration
reactionofthecementparticles.Theconcretecanthencuremore
efficientlytoachievemaximumperformanceproperties.
CHARACTERISTICS/ADVANTAGES
TheuseofAntisolcuringcompoundseliminatestheneedforcostly
andimpracticalcuringmethodssuchaswethessian,polythene
sheeting,continuouswatering,ponding,etc.

willhelpreduceshrinkagecracksfromoccurringbysignificantly
reducingtheamountofwaterevaporatingfromtheconcreteafterthe
coatinghasbeenapplied.However,curingcompoundswillnotprevent
theeffectsofanycrackingthatmayoccurasaresultofthermal
contraction,longtermdryingshrinkageorslabdesignswhichrestrain
lateralmovement.Carefulattentionmustalwaysbepaidtothe
positioningofconstructionjointsandshrinkagecontroljoints.
