schools in Singapore are teaching more classes in ecology and environmental science or

science, biology, chemistry and physics. It is evident that they do emphasize the need for

underlying na onal and local decisions and express posi ons that are scien cally and
technically informed". Nevertheless, environmental hygiene awareness is to be
recognized and appreciated before further enhancement could be implemented.
