QUESTION PAPER APRIL/MAY-2015


ENGINEERING DRAWING
For D.E.E.E. First Year Examination

Time 3 Hours

PART-A
Note: Answer all questions and each question carries five marks. Take Suitable Scale wherever required.
All dimensions are in mm
1. Print the following in single-stroke capital upright lettering of 12 mm size as specified in SP:46-1988:

2. Redraw the following figure to full scale by using chain dimensioning method.

3. Draw an internal tangent to 2 circles of radii 25 mm and 20 mm with center distance 75mm
4. Obtain the true shape of the section for the object shown in the figure by an auxiliary view

5. Draw a Helix for a circle having 45 mm diameter with 30 helix angle
