B - Symmetrical Components (Stevenson, APMagabo)

Charles LeGeyt Fortescue presented the method of symmetrical components in 1918, which represents three-phase systems using three components: positive, negative, and zero sequences. The method allows graphical addition of the components to obtain unbalanced phasors and represents a fault point in a three-phase system using a Thevenin equivalent network between the fault point and ground.
