There are a number of tools, models, and approaches to evaluate business health, moral,
leadership, market penetration, and so on. While we have typically focused on the SWOT
method, the International Institute of Business Analysis has put together a guide, similar to
the PMBOK, for the profession of Business Analysis. Their publication is the Business
Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK). You can access the book free of charge

Chapter 9 discusses over 30 techniques, including SWOT analysis. The tools will vary with
each business, but it seems CanGo would need to start at more of a basic review since they
have done very little actual goal setting and planning up to this point.
Leadership/management training would also be beneficial to bring the key leaders within the
company to a more unified focus. Even beginning with a discussion where each manager
privately writes their vision for the company, and then all the responses are compared would
be useful.
