How to earn cpd units for nurses in Philippines

Below is how to earn cpd units for nurses in Phillipines and list of accredited cpd providers
Philippines for Nurses

The following tasks or activities can be counted towards CPD Units for renewal of PRC
Card.

*Seminars,
training,
workshops;
Attainment of higher academic qualifications such as master's or doctorate Degrees
Professional chair appointment,
Residency
Externship
Additional specialty/sub-specialty programs,
Fellowship grants,
Post-graduate diploma;
Self-Directed Training offered by non-accredited CPD providers evaluated by CPD Councils;
or other such activities recommended by CPD Councils and approved by the Board and the
Commission.

Professional Track and Self Directed Training may be in the form of face to face interaction
or done online. Accredited CPD Providers may be Local or Foreign.

You can renew your license without cpd units till june 2017.

January-June 2017 - 0 unit


July-December 2017 - 15 units
2018 - 30 units
2019 - 45 units
2020 onwards - 45 units
1 year before expiration you can renew through prc website.
