Evaluations:
Action Timeline
Parent request for initial Hold meeting within 10 school
evaluation days of request to discuss parent
concerns
Final evaluation report Within 30 school days of parent
consent or within 3 school days
of evaluation results meeting
(whichever comes first)
Reevaluations At least every 3 years or, for DD,
before a students 7th birthday
Transition Evaluation During grades 7-9, before writing
a Transition IEP. Student MUST
have a transition evaluation & IEP
before the end of 9th grade.

Consent:

Initial Evaluation and/or IEP Must have signature before
beginning
Reevaluation and/or Annual IEP Implied consent after 14
calendar days

IEPs:
Action Timeline
IEP meeting after an evaluation Within 30 calendar days of the

removal if expulsion is

meeting removal (recommended is 5
school days)
Complete or review an FBA (or At the 10th cumulative day of
draft reevaluation to add FBA) removal
Alternative placement Maximum 45 school days
