PMP Preparation

Purpose Designed for experienced Project Managers to prepare for the Project Management Professional
(PMP) examination. It provides the 35 hours of specific project management training required to
qualify for the credential.

Duration 4 days. Some courses are 4 Day straight (Intensive), others are schedule over 2 to 3 weeks (Fast
Track) and others are scheduled on Saturdays. All content, materials and resources are the same,
only the scheduling is different.

Intended This course is for people qualified to seek PMP certification. To qualify you must have:
Audience
Either a degree plus 3 years (36 months) project experience within the past 8 years
Or no degree plus 5 years (60 months) project experience within the past 8 years. Full details are on
the Project Management Institute (PMI) website at www.pmi.org
Some participants may be ready to sit the PMP exam soon after the course finishes. Others may
require additional study time and a study text is provided, at no additional charge, for that purpose.

Content 1. All processes in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK Guide) are covered
in detail

2. We also cover additional material that is examinable but is not detailed by the PMBOK
Guide

3. Practice questions/tests including the Project Smart online Practice Exam Centre

4. Reviews and exercises

Learning Face to face presentation. Templates and tool examples will be reviewed and discussed. There is
environment limited time for practical exercises.
Email support is provided by the instructor during and after the course.

Course Notes and exercises are provided including a copy of the Rita Mulcahy text PMP Exam Prep at
Materials no additional charge.
You also receive unlimited access to the online Project Smart Exam Practice Centre.
