Dinagyang Festival is entitled as the Best Tourism Event in the country


because of its world class performances, colorful and unique costumes
that are made of local materials. Every year many local and international
tourists visit Iloilo City because of the Dinagyang Festival.

The Iloilo Dinagyang Foundation Incorporated and the Department of


Tourism estimated around 100 000 spectators to witness the prestigious
event. Approximately 20% of the spectators are international tourists.
