From the lists of the initial PIAs, the SPT used the rubric to help us choose which
PIAs to prioritize.
Taking Points/s
Looking at the Gap Analysis, it was noted that Reading and Numeracy received a
very high priority based on strategic importance, urgency, magnitude and
feasibility.
The SPT attributed the PIA to Child Access, and Child Learning Quality. For both
SPT gave it 4 for strategic importance because addressing will benefit to raise
their achievement rates.
For Urgency, this improvement area scored high because it has afffected the
percentage of pupils taking the NAT ( National Achievement Test)
For Magnitude, it ranked high because it was noted that are remarkable number of
pupis who are non-readers and non numerates
For Feasibility, the SPT gave it 5 because the school can employ several means to
improve the Childs Accesss and Quality in learning.
