1. Install ANSYS 17.0 License Manager.

Do not launch License Manager Center after


end of setup!

2. Copy folder "Shared files" from crack to < ANSYS progdir> (by default C:\Program
Files\ANSYS Inc\ ) and overwrite original ones

3. REBOOT COMPUTER!!!

4. Run Start > Programs > ANSYS, Inc. License Manager > Server ANSLIC_ADMIN Utility

5. Click "Specify the License Server Machine" > "Add Server Machine Specification"
> be sure that ANSYS FLEXlm port number is 1055 > for Hostname 1 input name (or IP-
address) of computer > OK > Close

6. Click "Launch the ANSYS License Management Center"

7. Click "Advanced Options- Specify License Manager Run Mode". Be sure that "Run
the ANSYS Licensing Interconnected with FlexNet (default) is ticked

8. Click "Add A License File" > Browse to "license.txt" from the crack and click
Open > click INSTALL LICENSE FILE
Wait for message "The license manager has been successfuly started"

9. Click "View Status/Start/Stop License Manager". Be sure that status of manager


"The license manager is running". If not click START and wait until manager will
start

10. Close ANSYS License Management Center and Server ANSLIC_ADMIM Utility

11. Install ANSYS 17.0. When asked for license server name input "localhost"
(without quotes)

12. Unzip the ICEPAK NETEX-G crack to <ANSYS progdir> (by default C:\Program
Files\ANSYS Inc\) and overwrite original files
Create environment variable ARTWORK_LICENSE_FILE pointing to <ANSYS
progdir>\ARTWORK_SSQ.dat (by default C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\ARTWORK_SSQ.dat)

13. To run ANSYS SCDM as a full standalone SPACECLAIM, rename the file <ANSYS
progdir>\scdm\ansys120.ico (by default C:\Program Files\ANSYS
Inc\scdm\ansys120.ico)
to _ansys12.ico. Copy the SPACECLM_SSQ.dat to <ANSYS progdir> (by default
C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\).
Create environment variable SPACECLAIM_LICENSE_FILE pointing to <ANSYS
progdir>\SPACECLM_SSQ.dat (by default C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\SPACECLM_SSQ.dat)

14. Enjoy
