Unlted States Patent (16) Patent N63 US 8,641,413 B2: Chen Et A1. (45) Date of Patent: Feb. 4, 2014

This patent describes a device for producing a stable and augmented flame. The device includes a fluid-inducing assembly with a flow-diverting mechanism that has vanes extending spirally from an intake end to an accelerating end. The vanes are circumferentially spaced. The flow-diverting mechanism also includes a covering member that circumferentially encircles the vanes at the accelerating end but leaves the intake end vanes exposed. The device further includes a hollow shield disposed above the fluid-inducing assembly.
