Below is a list of topics for both 7th grade and 8th grade content that we’ve studied this second half of the year. For each
section, IXL levels and topics are provided as well as units we studied them.

List of Topics:

● Percents (IXL 7th: All L topics) (Unit 2.4)


○ Convert between fractions, decimals, and percents
○ Word problems
■ Tax, tip, commission
■ Markups, markdowns
■ Simple interest
■ Percent increase and decrease
■ Percent error

● Functions (IXL 8th: Y.1, Y.2, Y.4, Y.5, Y.6, Y.7, Y.8, Z.1, Z.2, Z.7, Z.8, Z.9, Z.10, Z.11, Z.12) (Unit 3.1)
○ Define what relation and function; know the difference
○ Identify functions in graphs, tables, equations, and mapping diagrams
○ Represent functions using graphs, tables, equations, and mapping diagrams

To prepare:

● practice/review a little bit every day so you won’t be so overwhelmed at final time
