 Daily KPI’s monitoring (RRC Success Rate, RAB Success Rate , HSDPA establishment Success Rate,IRAT,SHO,Throughput per
user) and troubleshooting of the worst cells.
 3g Rollout sites pre-launch optimization.
 Reduce the Code congestion, CE blocking by shifting the traffic by Min RSCP and Ec/No level.
 IRAT HO improvement by modification of 2D/2F/3A profiles.
 HSDPA throughput improvement by codes and CQI reporting interval.
 Cell coverage reduction by QRxlevelmin and QQualmin value.
 Worst cell optimization on the basis of high access failure rate (including RRC&RAB failures) , high drop rate ,intra frequency
and IRAT failures etc
 Analyzing log file(RxLev, RxQual,CPICH RSCP, CPICH EcNo, Pilot Pollution) with Subcon coordinator to locate the bad patches
and low throughput areas.
 Addition or deletion of neighbor cells in order to improve the clusters. (3G-3G/3G-2G)
 Recommending the Physical changes (mainly up/down tilts, azimuth) to optimize the network.
 Swapped feeders Checking and pushing the integration teams to resolve this.

Nokia SWAP MDT Activities

 Parameters mapping verification from Nokia and ZTE dump during after MDT so that sites are on aired with pre swap
parameters.
 Lead the swap of Nokia and Ericsson to ZTE as swap lead.
 Swap detection by CI plot during swap from DT MAPINFO CI export.
 To check the Alarms during the swap of on aired sites .
 TCH Assignment Success rate verification during swap MDT to ensure on air site KPIs are fine.
 BCCH and sub-cell level difference check to ensure during swap MDT that site is on aired properly.
 Cell re-selection , HO attempts and success verification after swap MDT to ensure that old neighbors are deleted and new
neighbors are added properly so that HOSR KPI is fine and traffic distribution is fine .
 Parameters modifications after swap to reduce SDCCCH and TCH blocking due to fluctuations on neighbouring sites.
 Data and TCH Traffic verification of after swap by summing up the traffic on pre criteria.

Planning Part:

 Planning of new Sites coverage, quality and capacity .

 Mapping of Parameters from Motorla and Ericsson dump for creation of swapped sites.

DATA KPIs Optimization:

 Improving throughput by modifying CDED and CDEF values, Dynamic Timeslots, reducing interference by shifting traffic
on other band, PS allocation method, Using more Static PDTCH, HR Allocation algorithm.
 Improving TBF drop rate by modifying coding schemes ,Frequency cleaning, BEP value reduction.
 Improving TBF Success rate by BFG and CDED CDED and setting initial coding schemes of GPRS and EDGE,shifting traffic
to low TCH traffic band.
 Improving UL and DL blocking KPIs by increasing dedicated data timeslots and enabling more trx with data
capability and assigning them to EDAP pool.
 Analysis of Data KPIs and finding the reason of degradation on counter level and improvement of KPIs by improving that
counter degradation such as TBF allocation improvement by reducing TBF blocking and reducing interference on specific
band to improve allocation.
