SPECIAL POWER OF ATTORNEY

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

I, REBECCA FACULANAN GRANIL, of legal age, Filipino and a resident


of Cardona, Gerona, Tarlac, do hereby name, constitute and appoint, GLORIA
FACULANAN, of legal age, Filipino, married and a resident of San Jose, Tarlac,
to be my true and lawful attorney-in-fact, to act for and in my stead, to do,
perform the things hereunder mentioned:

1. To represent me in the preliminary investigation of the


criminal cases filed against ______________ for Violations of
______________;

2. To voluntarily appear on my behalf in any proceeding


required by the Office of the City Prosecutor and to file and sign the
appropriate responsive pleadings, motions, verifications, including a
motion for reconsideration and a petition for review;

3. To represent me in any criminal case which will be


filed in court as a result of the Affidavit-Complaint filed with the
Office of the Prosecutor;

4. To represent me in the preliminary conferences, pre-


trials, mediation and other proceedings in said criminal cases;

5. To appear and represent me in the hearing of the


above-mentioned cases;

6. To consider the simplification of issues in said case;


to consider the possibility of entering into a stipulation of facts, and
such other purposes of Pre-Trials as are specified by the Rules of
Court of the Philippines and to enter into settlement or compromise
agreements regarding the civil aspect of said criminal cases, with
such binding force and effect and under such terms and conditions
as are acceptable to them as if the same has complied with all the
requirements of Section 23 of Rule 138 of the Rules of Court, in all
of the said cases;

HEREBY GIVING AND GRANTING unto my said attorney-in-fact full


power and authority to do and perform any and every act and thing whatsoever
requisite or necessary to be done in and about the premises as fully to all intents
and purposes as I might or could lawfully do if personally present and acting in
person and hereby confirming and ratifying all that my said attorney shall lawfully
do or cause to be done under and by virtue of these presents.
