• Automation and Test Team. Designed and built an automated electromechanical system
to increase throughput of metal detection in pills embedded with ingestible sensors.

• Designed in CAD and built a 3 DOF Robotic Arm ‘NeuroArm’ for Neural Robotics research to
demonstrate operational space control in real time, including a Particle Jamming end effector.
7/13 - 9/13 Mechanical Engineer, SEED Design Lab, Stanford University, CA and Accra, Ghana
• Designed, prototyped and tested a foot-powered cassava roasting device for rural Ghana.
• Travelled to Ghana with a team from Stanford d.School’s Design for Extreme Affordability
class to iterate on device designs with local materials and partners in Ghana.

• Feedback/forward controls project to autonomously drive an Audi TTS (Stanford’s Shelley).

• Designed and built an autonomous mobile robot, a wirelessly controlled hovercraft, and an
arcade game in a team of four. Embedded system design, integration of sensors, motors,

• Robot that used an authentic bio-inspired paddling motion to swim in a pool at 30cm/s.
