The relay type model contains elements that mimic the functionality of an actual recloser, including time-current curves, high current elements, ground coordination, and reclosing logic. The reclosing logic allows configuration of reclosing attempts, reset times, and SEF trips before lockout. Each trip element can be individually enabled or disabled. Some features not supported include alternate minimum trip settings, TCC grouping, supervisor close reset time, and hot line tagging. Setting ranges support all available ranges based on different current transformer ratios.

Cooper Power Systems Form 4

The relay type model contains most of the elements of the actual recloser: 2 phase TCCs, 2 Ground
TCCs, High Current phase and ground elements, High Current Lockout phase and ground elements,
SEF element, ground precedence, sequence coordination. The support to the reclosing logic allows
defining the TCC1 operations, the operations to the lockout, the reset time, the reclosing time for each
reclosing attempt, the number of SEF trips before the lockout. For each trip High Current element and
the High Current Lockout element can be enabled or disabled.

Not supported features:


1. Alternate min trip phase-ground
2. TCC group(all TCCs are available together)
3. Supervisor close reset time
4. Hot line tag

Please note that the settings ranges have been set to support all the available ranges (i.e. the phase min
trip range is 25-2400 because with the 500:1 CT ratio the range is 25-800 and with the 2000:1 CT ratio
the range is 100-2400)
