To develop high performing professionals and intellectuals proficient in generating
new knowledge towards a progressive and peaceful pluralistic society.

The CNU Mission comprises three mutually reinforcing thrusts:


(1) Transformative education that nurtures thinking individuals who are valued
members and leaders of society
(2) High impact researchers that push the boundaries of knowledge in education
and contribute to improving communities, and
(3) Strong partnerships that collectively and creatively address the development
gaps of communities

III. Quality Policy


Cebu Normal University commits itself to deliver excellence in education, research
and extension services towards global competitiveness to meet the increasing levels of
customer demand, statutory, regulatory and international standards through continuous
quality improvement and good governance. To ensure compliance to the commitment,
relevant and responsive virtual and/or physical monitoring, review and upgrading of service
delivery is implemented.

IV. Quality Objectives


1. Increase average passing percentage of board examination programs by 20% of
the national passing.
2. Ensure 80% cohort survival of graduation in the undergraduate programs.
3. Increase number of publication in refereed reputable journals.
4. Increase technical advisory extension services that are responsive and timely to
the needs of community.
5. Timely completion of financial accountability reports.
6. Increase customer satisfaction index in all services of the university through fast-
tracking of services in compliance with service delivery charter.
7. Institute timely risk management protocol in order to mitigate effects of risks in its
various process deliveries.
8. Ensure confidentiality of records and/or information in compliance with the
provisions of relevant statutory requirements.
