AAF Statistics 2017

Sales of motor vehicles in Southeast Asian countries increased 5% in 2017 compared to 2016, with Indonesia and the Philippines seeing the largest gains. Motorcycle and scooter sales decreased slightly by 0.4% total across the region, with Indonesia down 5%. Production of motor vehicles rose 1% overall in 2017 while motorcycle and scooter production increased substantially by 13%.
