Sub Plans

1st Hour 8:30-9:30 - Math

• Students need to work on goal sheets and then they can do Think Through Math on the
computer
• Denise Larsen is the para that can help this hour. Refer to her for any questions you may have.

2nd Hour 9:35-10:35 - Planning

• Ask Mrs. Cole, the teacher next door, if she needs any help
• Use your extra time to prepare for upcoming hours of the day

3rd Hour 10:40-11:40 - Language/Life Skills

• Students each have a language folder with DLR and spelling inside. They know what to complete
for the day and will do so with their peer tutor.
• DLR should be done together on the board. There is a book under the whiteboard on the left
side of the class room.
o DLR for the day is marked with a blue sticky note
o Answer key is marked with a red sticky note
• If Wednesday: They should also complete Read Naturally
• Lori Johnson is in the class to help
• Denise Larsen works with 3 students doing Life Skills

Lunch 11:40-12:25

• Let students go at 11:35 to beat the crowd for lunch


• Most students will eat in class; Mrs. Cole or Denise can answer any questions

4th Hour 12:30-1:30 - Life Skills

• Students will first go to the cafeteria to clean then using the chore chart on the bulletin board
will complete their assigned task
• Upon returning to class students will complete any make-up work they have
• Misty and Lori are paras in this hour that will facilitate

5th Hour 1:35-2:35 - Planning

• Ask Mrs. Cole again if she needs any help

6th Hour 2:40-3:40 - Math

• Students need to work on goal sheets and then they can do Think Through Math on the
computer
• Sandra is the para that can help this hour. Refer to her for any questions you may have.

End of the Day 3:35 - help get students to their correct transportation
