Overture

Pure imagination/small world

Mickey: Well hi everybody, its me Mickey Mouse. Hope you are all having a super fun day. I
know I am, as today I am going on a really exciting adventure. I am going on holiday. I am
going to travel all around the world to see all of my friends and sing lots of songs. Oh boy do
I love holidays.

Tink Enters

Tink: Hey Mickey

Mickey: Hi Tinkerbell. I was just telling all my friends about my exciting holiday. Where I am
going to sing lots of songs with my friends around the world.

Tink: Oh but Mickey that’s what I was coming to tell you, all of the music has gone.

Mickey: What do you mean the music has gone?

Tink: I was flying home to Neverland and I was listening out for all the music that I always
love to here when I am flying home but I couldn’t hear anything. Pinocchio’s house was near
by so I stopped off to see if he knew what was going on, Jiminy said he had read in the
morning paper that all the music throughout the world has disappeared.

Mickey: Oh no! What can we do?

Tink: That’s why I am here Mickey, its up to us to bring it back.

Mickey: How are we going to do it?

Tink: I’m not sure, but I know the furry person to help us begin are quest. Let’s go.
 Instrumental Music

Jungle Scene

Chorus make animals sounds and animal business

Tink and Mickey Enter

Tink: I wonder where he could be?

Mickey: Who?

Baloo throws piece of fruit

Mickey: Ouch!

Tink: That’s him.

Baloo enters

Baloo: See man cub that’s how you make a fruit salad

Mogowli: Oh cool!

Tink: Baloo we need you help!

Baloo: What’s eatin ya lil pixie? And who’s your mousey friend here?

Mickey: Hey there I’m Mickey Mouse please to meet you.

Baloo: Howdy Mickey, I’m big Baloo and this here is my little pal Mogowli. (whisper) He’s a
man cub.

Mowgli: hey! Don’t go telling everyone I’m a man cub!

Tink: Baloo! All the music has gone missing and we need your help to bring it back.

Baloo: Don’t be silly little pixie, we have lots of music right here in the jungle, watch.

Musical chord – Chorus make animal sounds

Baloo: Oh dear, I guess your right little pixie.

Mickey: But can you help us?

Baloo: Mickey you don’t need my help; you just need to remember one easy little trick.

Tink and Mickey: What do you mean?

Baloo: Why you just need to follow the bare necessities.

Tink, Mickey and Mowgli: The bare necessities?

Bare Necessities

Chorus Exit after song

Mickey – Oh wow, I see.

Tink: Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute!

Mogowli: That’s three minutes.

Tink: We just sang a song.

Mickey: (shocked) Our singing must have brought the music back to the jungle, quick let’s go
and see if we can find it anywhere else.

Tink: Your right Mickey, lets go to Neverland and see my friend Peter. Thanks Baloo I knew
you would be able to help us.

Baloo: No worries kids, good luck on your adventure.

Play off – Baloo, Tink and Mickey Exit

Neverland Scene

Hear Peter Pan, Wendy and lost boys playing

Peter and Wendy run on playing airplanes

Wendy and Peter: (Playful dialogue)

Mickey: That’s looks fun maybe since they are having so much fun they didn’t even notice
the music going missing.

Peter: (plane noises) look Wendy I bet you can’t do this.

Wendy: Yes, I can, (plane noises, she crashes into Tink) oh my gosh, sorry Tink didn’t see you
there.

Tink: That’s ok Wendy, lucky we ‘bumped’ into you actually, we wanted to ask you and Peter
to help us.

Peter: Of course we will help you, what’s going on?

Mickey: Well, all the music has gone! And Tink and I are on an adventure to try and bring it
back.

Tink: We came to see you to check if there is still music in Neverland or if it has gone here
too.

Wendy: Now that you mention it, my music box has stopped working. (hold up music box)
but it was working yesterday.

Mickey: Oh no not here too! I had hoped that Baloo’s song had maybe brought it back.

Peter: Hmmmm have you tried thinking happy thoughts, it always works for me.

Mickey: I am not sure that will help in this case.

Peter: Well then I suggest going to see genie, if anyone can help he can.

Tink: Of course what a great idea, thanks Peter.

Mickey: But how are we going to get there? It has gotten a dark and we can’t see the way
back.

Wendy: Don’t worry you can just follow the stars.

Mickey: The stars? But there are so many, how will we know where to go?

The Second Star to Right

*Tink and Mikey travel to Agrabah via light and music transition*

Agrabah Scene

*Prince Ali Instrumental Music, sounds very out of tune *

*Chorus Enter in a parade*

Aladdin: Wow Genie this is amazing I can’t believe all I had to do was rub that lamp.
Jasmine: this whole parade is for you Aladdin, you’re a prince now thanks to genie

Genie: You better believe it kid. (looking at Mickey and Tink) hey you two? are you lost?

Tink and Mickey: Us?

Tink: We are looking for a Mr. Genie

Mickey: We where told he might be able to help us.

Genie: Mr. Genie esquire (bow) at your service…well sort of.

Tink: What do you mean sort off?

Jasmine: Well Aladdin was the one who set genie free, so genie can only answer to Aladdin’s
demands.

Aladdin: Yes, I earned three wishes for setting him free, becoming a prince is my first, and
this is my parade to celebrate.

Mickey: Oh I see (sad).

Tink: I guess we won’t be able to bring back the music in Agrabah.

Genie: The music? What’s wrong with the music? (trumpets off key)

Aladdin: Ah (conferring)… I’ve got an idea.

Genie: Eureka!

Aladdin: Genie I wish to give one of my wishes to Mickey and Tink.

Genie: Are you sure? There must be something else you want kid? Can I interest you in (lists
of random items)? PROPS NEEDED What about this? (Pink trumpet thing)

Jasmine: What is it?

Genie: I don’t know!

Aladdin: I’m pretty sure they need this more than I do. Genie grant my second wish.

Genie: Your wish is my command. (to mickey and tink) In that case welcome to Agrabah
friends.

Tink: So Genie can you help?

Genie: Can I help? (to audience) Can I help? These guys? Do they know who they are talking
to?

Friend like me

Genie: Here’s a little something to help you along the way. (shows them the magic carpet)

(Riding on the carpet visuals) – Music needed

Mary Poppins Scene

(They land in London)

Tink: Where are we?

Mickey: All of that twisting and turning has made me feel sick.

(Marry Poppins Enters)

Mary: You’re in London my dear. and we can’t have that, now take some of this.

Mickey: (takes the medicine) Ugh! I don’t like this quest anymore.

Tink: We are never going to bring the music back.

Mary: Now now what is all this nonsense? Of course you do. You just need to find the fun. In
every job that must be done there is an element of fun, you find the fun and SNAP the jobs a
game (Into the song).

Spoonful of Sugar
Mickey: Your right, gee thanks…eh.

Mary: Marry Poppins, delighted to meet you.

Mickey: I’m Mickey Mouse.

Tink: and I’m Tinkerbell.

Mary: Would you care to explain what has you both in such a tizzy.

Tink: We were on an adventure to bring the music back to the world but our magic carpet
crashed and we ended up here.
Mary: Well that’s what you get for flying with Ryanair

Mickey: and it seems like you have it covered.

Mary: Ah yes I did hear about the music going missing, I came here to see for myself.

Tink: but how did you fix it so quickly.

Mary: Well, I’m practically perfect in everyway, and I had a little something in my bag which
did the trick; but there is only one of me. So you two must not give up.

Bert: Give up what now? ello Mary and chums, what’s the jackanory?

Mary: Oh Bert, you really do have a way with words.

Bert: All thanks to you Mary.

Mary: Maybe we need to practice some more, repeat after me.

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

Tink: bet you can’t say that backwards.

Mickey: Oh boy that was fun but we should continue on our quest.

Tink: Youre right Mickey but the carpet won’t fly anymore.

Mickey: Oh yeah, what are we going to do?

Mary: Now where is it that you children need to go?

Tink: We should visit the island of Montanui. Music is so important to the people there; it
would be terrible if they didn’t have it.

Bert: So, you need to fly there but your carpet won’t fly, have you considered travelling by
kite?

Mary: Oh Bert what a marvellous idea.

Mickey: But we don’t have a kite.

Mary: Good thing that’s easily fixed.

Montunui Scene

(Village people are working, one harvesting coconuts, two working together; washing a
folding clothes and one making flower garlands)

(Moana business)

Moana: Great work guys I know its very hard without our songs but we need to keep going.

Mickey: Oh boy, its so quiet here.

Tink: I know I’ve never heard Montunui without music before everyone seems so sad.

Moana: Hey guys what brings you to our island.

Mickey: We are here to bring the music back to your island and your people.

Moana: That’s fantastic. (Looks around) I’ve never seen everyone so sad before, music is so
important here.

Maui: Hey Moana any luck?

Moana: Hey Maui, funny you should ask actually. My friends Mickey and Tinkerbell have just
arrived to help us.

Maui: Wow, awesome! (to Mickey and Tink) You need any help? You know I’m a demi god.

Moana: Oh Maui. (to Mickey and Tink) I’m so glad you are here.

Tink: We have been lots of different places around the world on our musical adventure.

Mickey: Yeah we never know where we are going to end up next.

Moana: I guess destiny is funny like that.

How Far I’ll Go

Mickey: wow I love this island.

Tink: me too, but we need to keep going, we have more places to visit.

Mickey yes, yes we do. but we can’t fly anymore, there’s no wind here.

Moana: why don’t you take a boat?

Maui: and I can make you some wave to set you off on the right track. I am demi god you
know.

Tink: that would be great, thank you guys

Mickey: lets go! Next stop Arndell!

Music reprise as they sail away, boat starts to rock, lights flash

Mickey: tink were sinking!

Tink: its ok I can use my pixie dust to help us breathe underwater! Take a deep breath!

Mickey and Tink: 1,2,3 (they jump into the water)

Mickey and tink exit

Under the sea scene

Ariel: come on Flounder, maybe one of those thingy-ma-bobs could help find the music?

Flounder: Ariel! Wait for me!

Ariel: ooooh (picks up prop) maybe this could work?

Sebastian: Ariel, if you’re father finds out that you are this close to the surface he will turn us
both into fish fingers!

Mickey and tink enter

Flounder: ahhhhh, gosh you guys scared me

Mickey: sorry, we were trying to get to Arendelle but our boat sank.

Sebastian: shouldn’t you be struggling to breathe

Tink: oh haha, I used some pixie dust to help us breathe underwater

Ariel and flounder: wow cool!

Ariel: we aren’t very far from Arendelle, if you like we can take you the rest of the way

Sebastian: what? no way? That’s out of the question!

Ariel: don’t listen to him, has a little crabby

Mickey: that would be fantastic, thank you.

Flounder: so why are you travelling all the way to Arendelle?

Tink: its one of our last stops on our quest to bring the music back.

Ariel: oh I love adventures

Mickey: it is really fun; hey why don’t you help us?

Sebastian: absolutely not, no, no way

Ariel: Sebastian please, I want to go on land

Flounder: I don’t know Ariel I don’t think it’s a good idea

Sebastian: you don’t need to go to Arendelle, you can have plenty of adventures right here

Under the sea

Ariel: Sebastian! The music is back

Tink: it was gone down here too?

Mickey: I guess its pretty lucky we sank after all

Flounder: ooooh its really cold, we must be here

Sebastian: yep, this is Arendelle harbour alright.

Tink: thank you all so much for your help

Mickey: bye everyone, thank you

Arendelle scene

Mickey: Oh boy its freezing here.

Tink: Sure, you wouldn’t be long getting’ frost bit.

Olaf: you get used to it. (excited) HEY GUYS!!!

Anna: oh Olaf, That’s where you got to.

Elsa: Anna! (glares) We have guests. (to mickey and tink) Welcome to Arendelle.

Mickey: Why thank you. Is it always this cold here?

Elsa: Only in winter.

Anna: (giggles) (Elsa glares at her)

Olaf. That’s what makes me a happy snowman!

Tink: How do you not melt in summer?

Anna: Elsa built him with her ice magic so he never melts.

Tink: oh.

Elsa: What brings you to Arendelle?

Mickey: I’m sure you have noticed the music. . .

Tink: or lack of music should we say.

Anna: Well now you mention it, it has been an awful lot quieter around here.

Olaf: oh phew, I thought my ears had frozen over.

Mickey + Tink: Huh?

Elsa: never mind those two, how can we help?

Mickey: honestly I don’t know. We have been all around the world and who knows where
else we need to go.

Tink: (realisation) oh no, mickey what if it never comes back. I’m worried that there will
always be somewhere that we’ve missed.

Mickey: tink don’t say that, now I’m worried too.

Olaf: do you guys want to hear a joke? What did the snowman say to the…?
Anna: Olaf shhhhhh
Elsa: you have a huge responsibility, but you can’t give in to your fear. I felt the same way
when I first discovered my powers.

Anna: Its scary but you need to let go of your worries and believe that you can do it.

Elsa: just like I did

Let it go

Olaf: (singing) “let it go, let it go”, man that’s catchy, but how annoying would it get if it was
the most overplayed song in the most popular children’s movie. (knowing look to audience)

Mickey: well, I don’t know about you Tink but I feel much better

Tink: me too mickey, and were so close to completing out or quest. We’ve got this. (they
high five)

Anna: before you guys go; would you like to see the palace? I want to show you something
really special.

Mickey and tink: Sure!

(palace montage. Do you want to build a snowman instrumental plays)?

Anna: And this is my room.

Mickey and Tink: WOW!

Anna: this is what I wanted to show you. This is my magic toy box.

Tink: Magic toy box?

Anna: yes, it’s much bigger on the inside, you can climb inside and go on magical adventures
with all the toys.

Mickey: COOL!

Anna: do you want to try?

Mickey and Tink: Yeah!!

(Toy box scene)

All toys onstage

Mickey: WOW, this is amazing!

Tink: look at all these toys. I wonder how they work?

Woody: Anna? Is that you?

Mickey and tink: (startled) Ahhhhhh!

Jessie: what is all this a hollering’ . can’t a girl get some sleep around here?

Tink: Sorry. We weren’t expecting you to be so .... real?

Woody & Jessie: Real!

Woody: anything can be real if you use your imagination.

Jessie: well howdy folks, I’m Jessie and this here is woody.

Buzz enters

Buzz: captain light-year, reporting for duty!

Jessie: hey buzz, these are our new friends ...

Mickey: Mickey

Tink: and Tink

Jessie: Mickey and Tink

Buzz: Greetings.

Woody : Are you guys here for an adventure?

Mickey: Funny you should say that; we're just coming to the end of one.

Tink: Yeah, I think I'm gonna be really sad when it’s over.

Mickey: me too.

Woody: maybe one adventure is ending but

Tink: What do you mean?

Jessie: well, I’m sure you made lots of new friends. Friendship is the best adventure of all.

Mickey: wow, I guess you’re right!

Tink touches music box, music starts to play

Buzz: Hey, the music box is working again.

Woody: how funny, that’s been broken for days.

Jessie: something tells me our new friends had a part in fixing it.

Lights fade to mickey and tink center stage

Mickey: huh … I guess we did it!

Tink: yeah. We’ve been all over the world and restored the music to everywhere we went.

Mickey: tink, I don’t want our quest to be over, I’ve had such a wonderful time.

Tink: don’t worry mickey, it doesn’t have to be over?

Mickey: it doesn’t?

Tink: remember what Woody said? Anything is possible in your imagination. As long as we
remember all of our friends and all these wonderful places, we never have to leave.
