1. Introduction
 This software has two parts. First is user part and the
administrator parts. User part is used as a front end and
administrator is the back end. Administrator is used by airline
authority. It will allow the customers to access database and
allow new customers to sign up for online access. The system
allows the airline passenger to search for flights that are
available between the two travel cities, namely the “Departure
city” and “Arrival city” for a particular departure and arrival
dates. The system displays all the flight’s details such as
flight no, name, price and duration of journey etc.

Existing System:
An extensive study of the existing Online Flight Reservation
System was carried out. There is an existing flight booking
System available in branch. The system is run manually by the
database. It is difficult to run efficiently by manpower, and difficult
to respond every user within a short period.
Thus we came to know the essential need to make its web
application.

SCOPE:

This project on Airline Reservation Management System is

the automation of registration process of airlines system. The system
is able to provide much information like passenger’s
information, criminal’s, list of all passengers etc.

 2. PROPOSED SYSTEM

PROPOSED SYSTEM:

The airline reservation system makes finding information about any

ticket quick and easier, booking any ticket with a click of a mouse,
also cancellation of ticket. It also maintains a record of regular
passengers, their names, addresses, tickets issued, date of return, etc.

OBJECTIVES:

 Airline Reservation System contains the details about flight

schedules and its fare tariffs, passenger reservations and ticket
records.
 An airline’s inventory contains all flights with their available
seats.
 The inventory of an airline service is generally divided into
three category of classes (e.g. First, Business or Economy class)
and each category is having seats up to 26 bookings, along with
prices and booking conditions.

entity to determine whether or not to accept the system.

System Testing :
The process of testing an integrated system to verify that it meets specified
requirements.

Integration Testing :

Testing performed to expose defects in the interfaces and in the interactions

between integrated components or systems.
 Future Enhancements and Conclusion

Future Enhancements:
- Mobile app must have real-time updates of information about
prices and seat availability.
- Post Booking Management: This feature of online flight
reservation system allows a travel to make changes in their bookings.
-Multi-Lingual System: As flight reservation system makes the
presence global of every travel company.

Conclusion:
The world has advanced into the era of internet technology. Even
mundane chores such as paying bills, making purchases and
booking holidays are increasingly being done on the internet. The
airline industry made use of the internet boom by developing
airlines reservation system (ARS), which has now evolved into
Computer Reservation System (CRS).
