ABSTRACT

This study entitled “Organizational Commitment of Employees in NZC, MAsinloc

Zambales for the year 2018-2019” was mainly focused with organizational commitment. It

utilized population sampling. This is a descriptive type of research.

This study concluded that Majority of the employees is atMiddle Adulthood, Female,

Single, a Bachelor’s Degree Holder and 7 years in service.; The perception towards

organizational commitment is “Moderately Agree.”; The factors affecting organizational

commitment is perceived as “Agree.”; There is no significant difference in the Affective,

Continuance and Normative Commitment when respondents were grouped according to age, sex,

civil status, highest educational attainment and length of service.; There is no significant

difference on the effect of job and organizational characteristics on organizational commitment

when grouped according to age, civil status, highest educational attainment and length of service

The researchers would like to recommend the following: The school management is

encouraged to sustain the organizational relationship to preserve emotional attachment of the

employees to the organization; As the employees enjoy their challenging job at the moment,

the management may seize the opportunity to create other opportunities in the workplace that

might help in maintaining employee loyalty. The teachers are encouraged to finish their

masteral degrees. Follow-up in depth study why employees seem satisfies and content with

their work.
