LP Demo Circle

This document outlines the daily lesson log for a mathematics class on circles and their parts. The lesson objectives are to define circle terms like radius, diameter, chord, and others. Students will play a circle drawing game and complete worksheets to identify circle parts. They will then answer questions to describe and differentiate between terms. An enrichment activity asks students to determine if statements about circles are true or false. The log records the number of students who mastered, needed remediation, or continue needing help with the lesson concepts.

IV. PROCEDURES
A. Reviewing A. Do Circle Game!
previous lesson or Mechanics:
presenting the new The class will be divided into 5 groups. Each group will choose 3 representatives to play the
lesson game. The chosen members will play together by drawing a circle (clockwise rotation) using their left
hand and drawing another circle (counter- clockwise) using their left foot simultaneously. The group who
cannot perform well will be out. The remaining group who can do the challenge will be the winner. The
winning group will be given a reward.
B. Do activity: Check it yourself! (ppt)
Guide question: What is a circle?

B. Establishing a Learners will be grouped and will answer the activity involving parts of the circle.
purpose to the Mechanics: Each group will be given a copy of the figure below. Each group is tasked to determine
lesson the parts of the circle by choosing the word inside the box below. Afterwards, they will write this in the
colored box that corresponds to that part. They will be given 5 minutes to do the task.
