STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

Having cemented my academic foundation in law with an L.L.B Degree under Dr. Hari Singh Gour Central
University , Sagar , M.P. I have tried my level best to gain maximum knowledge as well as professional
skills with 5 year law course at DHSGU. Well I expect to finish this soon , I look forward to start my L.L.M
Business and Corporate Law so that I can build higher capacities which will enrich my career and
hopefully it will pays off me well. Master in Law will facilitate my career targets , personal and
professional developments.

I wanted to pursue a career in corporate law because it provides endless possibilities. As our
nation has adapted rapidy when it comes digitilization it has brought us many opportunities in
the field of corporate sector. There are ample of job opportunities are available in government
as well as private sectors. After pursuing degree in corporate law, you can get job
placements in law firms, insurers, banks, asset managers, etc.

If you are interested in teaching field, you can become or appointed as a Teacher or Lecturer
in colleges or universities after completing the masters degree in corporate law.

I not only just attended class room classes and got passed but I also tried to give my best and fulfilling
efforts in co-curricular activities. Following are some of them :

(1) I did internship under Advocate Rakesh pande from 19-6-2015 to 19-7-2015 in Allahabad where
I did research work for cases and helped him in preperation of cases.
(2) I also participated in National law fest conducted by Indore Institute of Law in year 2015 , where
I took part in parliamentary debate and street play.
(3) I did internship under Advocate Gaurav Mehrotra in his firm Amicus Demos from 24-5-2016 to
24-6-2016.
(4) I also attended National Seminar on Gender , power , patriarchy and status of women in india
which was held on 25-26 february 2016 at Sagar University.
(5) I also took part in National Debate competition conducted by Sardar Patel Subharti Institute of
law , Meerut in year 2016.
(6) I took part in One day Certificate program on Environmental law practice. This event was
conducted by Trust legal Advocates and consultant and AU Law Biz in year 2017.
(7) I took part in Group Debate Competition conducted by english department at my university
where I secured first position , it was held in year 2019.
(8) I have also written some articles on topic like ‘position of women in society’ which got
published. I also wrote an article on mothers day which got published in journal called Ameya.
My articles have also been published in Lucknow Tribune and Nav Bharat Times.

Symbiosis Law School provides specialisation in Business and Corporate law , its master of law courses
consist of 2 semester. Apart from class lectures and exams this in course also made provisions for case
study , presentations , project works , viva voce etc. This is will add an extra edge my degree of L.L.M.
Symbiosis Law School has ranked under top 25 best law colleges in India by Outlook Magazine. NIRF
ranked 9th in 2018 in comparison with other law colleges. India today ranked Symbiosis law school 3rd in
the country when it comes to best law colleges in india. Symbiosis law school provides all the adequate
facilities like well maintained campus with hostel facilities , libraries and other recreational facilities too.
It will bean great opportunity for me to be part of this institute.
