Co-Requisite: Prerequisite: Data Book / Codes/Standards Course Category Course Designed by Approval

This document provides information about the Aerospace Propulsion Laboratory course offered at 15AS307L. The course aims to provide an in-depth understanding of aircraft engines and the preparation and testing of solid propellants. It involves 10 experiments related to analyzing different engines, heat transfer concepts, jet properties, hybrid and ramjet engines, and measuring the burning rate and thrust of solid propellants. Students will learn to study and test piston engines, measure heat transfer coefficients, analyze free and wall jets, study hybrid propulsion systems and ramjet engines, and test prepared solid propellants. Assessment includes evaluation of experiment records, quizzes, viva voce, models, and an end semester exam.
