Hard Hat Color Code

Color coded hard hats are used to identify different roles on construction sites, with white for managers, brown for foremen, green for quality control, yellow for production workers, blue for maintenance, grey for engineers and office staff, and red for safety departments. The safety standard for hard hats is ANSI Z-89.1 from 1981 and 3M-type hard hats are recommended.
