Analysis: SNAP 2008-09

SNAP 2008 paper was similar to last year SNAP paper in terms of difficulty level. The
difference was in Number of questions and Marking Scheme. Like last year paper this year also
AR & LR section contained 30 questions of 2 marks each but the difference was that this year
all other sections also contain 5 questions of 2 marks each. Total number of questions last year
were 150 while this year number of questions were 135. Student found paper bit lengthy but
Bulls Eye students could afford to rejoice as there were more than 15 Questions which were
a direct pick from Bulls Eye Material (Q. No. 37, 38, 39, 46, 48, 52, 56, 57, 64, 65, 104, 113,
115, 125, 129, 135 of E series).

(Range is higher because of profile based calls)
In some of the Symbiosis institute overall profile (academic
performance, work experience, extra co-circular activities etc.) Is
seen rather than only SNAP score. So for some of the Symbiosis
institute SNAP score is not the only criterion for interview calls. So
all the SNAP aspirants if they think they have a good profile but low
SNAP score it is advisable for them to apply.
