Rooftop solar – Sustainability

cum Cost Savings Proposal

with Zero Capex and Zero Risk

Solar offering presentation by Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
• Clean Max Solar is India’s largest developer of on-site solar power plants for corporates with over 85
MWp already installed and 24% market share (Bridge to India Rooftop Solar Map 2017)

• As a developer, Clean Max will invest, install, operate and maintain in a solar power system on your
premises (rooftop/open land); and charge an energy tariff for the units consumed from the solar power
system through a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA)

• Clean Max presently serves several marquee Indian and multinational corporations such as GE, Asahi
Glass, Carlsberg, Tata Group, Mahindra Group, TVS Group, ThyssenKrupp, Alkem, Gabriel, NBC
Bearings, etc. indicating that our 25-year PPA accepted in the market.

• This is so because our PPA has flexibilities built in that take into account the future challenges faced by
large corporations from a plethora of different sectors. These flexibilities deal with the perceived risks of
relocation, low solar irradiation, equipment failure, O&M failure, grid price decrease etc.

• Clean Max Team comprises of high-skill professionals either with strong experience in the solar field-
from companies such as Thermax, Solar Direct, Mahindra Solar, Bridge to India etc. or individuals from
top schools such as IIT-B, IIT-M, IIT-D, Wharton, IIM-A etc.

Clean Max Value Proposition is Hassle-free & Lucrative Green
Power for Corporates
• Zero Capex:
• Avoids the investment risk & tedious capex approvals
• Time saved also means extra money saved

• Outcome Based Procurement:

• Client pays only for the units generated from the solar power plant in a monthly bill
(retrospective); as opposed to (prospective) assumption-based procurement
• No weather risk (solar radiation) or equipment underperformance risk or risk of O&M failure
• Guaranteed savings for next 20-25 years

• Sustainability + Cost savings through Cheaper Green Power:

• Important for organisations to project commitment to sustainability; On-site solar gives
several opportunities for such footage- inauguration, annual report, etc.
• Obligated entities can comply with govt. norms such as Renewable Purchase Obligation &
avoid expenditure in procuring RECs

Smart Working System provides hassle-free 3-Ø AC
synchronisation
• No wiring changes required

• No battery back up

• Photo Voltaic modules of 320 or 325 Watt

(peak) provide DC output

• Inverter converts DC into AC and synchronises

it with grid mains by referencing characteristics
(V, Ø, f) of grid mains

• Phase of solar power is slightly ahead so that

solar is consumed on priority, thus reducing
grid consumption

• Quality of Power - less than 3% Harmonic

Injection at rated power of inverter

• Power Evacuation is possible at both HT & LT
