Agent Uninstallation On UNIX

To uninstall the agent on UNIX, stop all NMS processes and remove the robot by running commands in the Nimsoft installation directory. To uninstall on Windows, shut down the Nimsoft service controller, run the Robot executable to start the uninstallation wizard, select remove, confirm removal, and finish once files are removed.

Agent Uninstallation on UNIX

1. Turn off all NMS processes: /< Nimsoft_install_dir>/Nimsoft/bin/niminit stop

2. Remove the robot: /< Nimsoft_install_dir >/Nimsoft/bin/inst_init.sh remove

Agent Uninstallation on windows

1. Download the Robot (Agent) on the local server.

2. Shut down the nimsoft service controller from start >all programs>Nimsoft monitoring> nimsoft service controller

3. Double Click on “NimBus Robot.exe” below window appears. Click Next

4. Select remove option from the below window and click Next

5. Following confirmation window will appear, Click Next

6. Click next in the below message box to remove the installation files
