- Show example of scrambled and omelet egg to the class and let them taste and compare them.

INTRODUCTION

Let the students describe each dish.


Ask the following questions:
MOTIVATION - Based on the descriptions given, how do these egg dish differ?
- What is common in these dish?
- How can they make quality?
- Scrambled eggs can be made in two ways: the eggs can be stirred constantly over low heat for a soft delicate curd and a
creamy texture, or stirred less frequently as they cook for a larger curd and a firm texture.

- The rolled, or French-style, omelets start out like scrambled eggs, but when the eggs start to set, they are rolled over.
“Gallery Walk”

Two assigned students will post posters of the different flavor and fillings used in preparing scrambled and omelet egg. They will act as
ACTIVITY 1 tour guides giving their classmates a short presentation of the posters including their descriptions and roles, and conducting a “Question
and Answer” about them.

“Group Discussion”

1. Ask the following questions:


- Who among you have already experienced preparing scrambled or omelet?
- Were you able to do it perfectly?
- Did you encounter problems while preparing them? What problems did you encounter?
FIRM UP - How can you make a good quality scrambled and egg omelet?
- What are the tools and ingredients needed in preparing scrambled and omelet?

“Let’s Cook”

Group 1&3 will cook and present scrambled egg and group 2&4 will cook and present omelet egg in an appealing manner by adding some
garnishes afterwards.
Your sibling asked you to prepare scrambled and omelet. How can you make a good quality scrambled and egg omelet?

What are the important things that you have learned from the discussion?

A. Each group will have an exhibit of their plated scrambled and omelet. A representative from each group will present their output and
share to the class their experiences on egg cookery. Students’ performance and output will be evaluated using this rubric:

A. Bring pictures of different egg recipes.


ASSIGNMENT B. Group the students into four and let them think of an egg recipe. Ask them to bring the needed ingredients then have a research about
the proper ways of presenting egg dishes.
