This document provides a rubric for students to use to rate their group members' contributions and behaviors during a group research activity. The rubric contains 5 criteria: contribution to group goals, consideration of others, contribution of knowledge, working and sharing with others, and focus on task/commitment. For each criterion, students assign a score from 1 to 4. The document explains how individual ratings will be averaged and used to determine a percentage of the grade received for the final research paper. It includes an example of how to fill out the rubric and provides space to rate each group member.

rubric. The first line is an example.
This is how you will be rated: The teacher will get the average of the student as rated by his/her group members. The average is divided the ideal score of 20. The percentage is the basis of
getting your grade which the panel gave you during the final defense. For example Andre Byron got an average of 16 from his group members. 16/20=0.80 or 80%. If the panel gave a raw score
of 45 over 50 (45/50). You get 80% of 45 which is 36. This is your raw score of your research paper which can be converted into its equivalence basing on the agreed upon cut off of the
department.
