POS LOG-IN FORM – Here is the Log-in form of my POS and it is a Multi-User type.

On the left side is


for the admin and on the right side is for the Staff. Admin can access all of the functions of the
system while the staff proceeds to the Point of Sale form only. Staff can access only the POS Form.

I’ve entered the admin password and logged-in for the admin. If the password matches the
password for the admin on the database then a message “Welcome Admin!” will popup.
After a successful Log-in for the admin this Admin Panel will open. It contains tabs (Inventory,
Accounts, Order History and Other Options).

ADDING PRODUCT FROM THE INVENTORY – By clicking the add button this pop-up will appear. Fill-
out the information’s needed and click Save to save the product else click Cancel.
UPDATE PRODUCT – Updating a product is easy. All you need to do is just select an item then click
update button then a pop-up will appear containing the data of the product. You can edit those
data and click on the update button.

DELETE PRODUCT – Deleting a product is also easy. Select a product to delete then click the
delete button then a confirmation dialog will appear. If you wish to proceed to delete the product
then just click Yes else click No.
SEARCH PRODUCT – Type on the text box beside the “SEARCH” text to search for a product and it
will automatically fill the table. If you’re searching with the Product ID select the PRODUCT ID beside
the textbox (on the right side). Searching has two options, you can search with the Product ID or
Product Name.

SORT TABLE – You can sort the inventory table base on what you need. Sorting has three options(All
items, On-Stock and Out-of-Stock). Select from the dropdown then the table will automatically
update with the data that you need.
ACCOUNTS – This section allows you to add, update or delete a user to your POS.

Update Staff – Select an account to update then click the update button. A form will pop-up
containing the information of the user you’ve selected to update. You can now edit the data of
the user then click update to save changes.
ADD STAFF – Adding staff/user is easy. By clicking the Add Button from the Account section a form
will pop-up. Fill-out the data needed then click Save to save the account.

DELETE STAFF – To delete an account just select an account then click the delete button. A confir-
mation dialog will appear if you wish to proceed to delete the account then click Yes else click No
to cancel.
ORDER HISTORY – This section shows the data of the transactions. Once you’ve made a transaction
it will be saved automatically to the database and will appear to this section. You can view the
receipt of that specific transaction or even view the data of that transaction.

RECEIPT VIEW – Select a transaction then click the View Receipt button to view the receipt. A receipt
pop-up will appear matching the transaction number you’ve selected.

VIEW DATA – To view the data of the transaction just select a transaction then click the View Data
button. A form will appear containing the data of the transaction you’ve selected.

OTHER OPTIONS (TRANSACTIONS REPORT, CHANGE ADMIN PASSWORD, TABLE PRINTING,


DISCOUNTS) – This section allows you to generate a graph report of the transactions, Change the
admin password, Print a table(Products, Accounts, Order History) and Manage the Discounts.
SALES REPORT – By clicking the Transactions Report button a form will appear. At this point no
transactions was made that’s why the Sales Report is empty.

TABLE PRINTING – Select from the dropdown to print the table that you need then click the
Print/Export to PDF button to proceed.
RESET ORDER HISTORY – If you wish to delete all the data all you need to do is click the Reset button.
A confirmation dialog will appear. Select Yes if you want to proceed to delete all the data else click
No to cancel.

After deleting all the data the table will be automatically updated.
DISCOUNT FORM – By clicking the Discount button from the Other Options menu this form will pop-
up. You can add, edit or delete a discount. Discount type has two options (Fixed, Pecent). Fill out the
data needed then select the discount type and click Save to save the Discount.

Percent – For this type of discount I will be choosing the Percent and filled-up the informations
needed then saved this Discount.
FIXED DISCOUNT – A fixed price will be chosen for this type of discount.

After Saving those discounts this dropdown/combobox will be updated automatically containing the
discounts you’ve created.
CHANGE ADMIN PASSWORD – To change the admin password all you need to do is to click the Change
Pass button then it will ask you for the current password, if your input is correct then it will now ask
for the new password and it will also ask you to confirm. If your New Password and Confirm Password
matches then your password will be changed.

ADDING ITEM TO THE TRANSACTION DETAIL – Select an item then a pop-up will appear asking for
the quantity you want to buy then click okay to proceed else cancel.
UPDATE – If you wish to update the quantity you can select an item then click the update qty button
DELETE – If you wish to delete an item all you need to do is to select an item the click the delete
button.
PROCEED PAYMENT – If you’re already done adding items then click the Proceed Payment button on
the lower right side. A confirmation dialog will appear asking if you want to apply a discount to this
transaction.

DISCOUNT(s) – After clicking YES this form will pop-up next. Select the discount you wish to apply
from the dropdown/combobox and click apply to proceed else click cancel if you do not want to
apply a discount.
After clicking Apply it will ask now for the Amount Received. If the input is lower than the total then
it will not proceed.

*The discount for this transaction is applied.

This is the receipt for this transaction. As you can see the Senior Citizen appeared because we’ve
applied that type of discount. This transaction will be saved automatically and by pressing the exit
the data from the transaction table will be cleared automatically. This transaction can be viewed in
the Order History.
LOG-IN FORM FOR THE STAFF – Input the details of the account then if it matches from the database
then it will get the name of the staff and a welcome message will appear.

This will be the form that the Staff can access. The name of the staff will be displayed on the upper
left side. The staff can make the transaction and will be saved to the database after.
