MBA Statement of Purpose

The world of business encompasses the world. I have always been fascinated in
learning the fundamental skills in developing a business, from making snap decisions to
handling personnel regardless of their experience and age.

When I was in grade school, I am dreaming of having my own business


specifically in co-related to foods, that is also why I took up my undergraduate studies
relating to foods which is Bachelor of Science in Food Technology. At first, I thought it
is more like a culinary course but I’m glad it’s not; it is a lot more beyond that. It is a
science behind every food that we eat. It is so broad that this course also has the major
subjects in marketing and entrepreneurship, it taught us how to market the foods from
raw to table. I believe that I enjoy and possess the skills and knowledge needed when it
comes to food. The passion, determination, innovative and creative ideas would be my
sword and shield in food business.

After college, I work and still working with Jimini Foods Group, a pizza company
in their QA and RND Department. I failed my colleague at times, being the novice that I
am. Yet, I managed to transform those failures into lessons and inspirations and
eventually got my success. I got promoted and now part of the RND team that launches
new developed products in the market.

However, after all these achievements, I still feel that I have not had enough.
There are many things that I still want to do and to achieve, just like my dream when I
was in grade school, having my own business. Yet, I felt that my knowledge is not
sufficient to endure my goals. Now, I am writing this statement in order to possibly earn a
slot in your apprehended university and planning to take up Master in Business
Administration.

I believe that your university is the best institution for me to further hone my
knowledge in business administration and eventually earn the title of MBA at the end of
my education. I will share this dream of mine of being a very successful businesswoman
with your institution, because a student’s success is not solely her, but because of the
foundation and formation of her institution.
