Determination of Specific Gravity: References

This document contains the results of several soil tests: 1) Specific gravity tests were conducted on three soil samples and produced an average specific gravity of 2.42. 2) Sieve analysis was performed on a 500g soil sample and showed that 64.2% of the soil was coarse sand. 3) Hydrometer analysis estimated the soil to be 18.8% silt and clay.
