I. IDENTIFYING INFORMATION
Facilitator / Resource Person : Five (5) Resource Speakers – Office of the Ombudsman
II. BACKGROUND/RATIONALE
The Provincial Government of Oriental Mindoro has been implementing the integrity mechanisms through a
series of programs and activities. One of the programs identified is the Integrity, Transparency, and
Accountability in Public Service (ITAPS) Seminar which will be conducted by the Office of the Provincial
Governor thru the LoGIC Network.
ITAPS aims to raise the level of awareness of the PGOrM personnel and other invited government employees
on the significance of building a character of Integrity in governance and provide a deeper understanding of
integrity, transparency and accountability in public service.
The ITAPS Seminar aims to provide venue whereby public service values are internalized and to develop
a deeper understanding of the role of public servants and the accountability attached to the positions in the
government.
B. Learning Objective
By the end of the activity, the participants would have verbalized the importance of integrity, transparency
and accountability in public service in their respective offices and departments.

Terminal Report
Participants are given a chance to raise questions or ask for clarifications during the open-forum after the
lecture-proper which will be answered by the lecturers from the Office of the Ombudsman.
As the conclusion of the series of lectures and workshops, participants will make an individual integrity
assessment and formulate their respective integrity plans as the outputs to be implemented in their own
offices, division or units.
Lecture will be given based on the abovementioned topics. Resource speakers from the Office of the
Ombudsman will facilitate the group discussions. The integrity assessment will likewise be administered by
the facilitators which shall then be utilized to draft the Action Plan on the integrity mechanisms.
V. ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS
The seminar-workshop will be a whole day activity from 8:00AM to 5:00PM on 27 and 28 February 2019.
Participants will be the Department Heads, Program Implementers, Division Chiefs and Unit Heads of the
Provincial Government of Oriental Mindoro and other invited government employees from the National
Government Agencies and Local Government Units.
C. Resource Persons/Facilitators
Five (5) resource persons will be from the Bureau of the Resident Ombudsman of the Office of the
Ombudsman Manila.
D. Venue/Facilities
100 participants will be expected to attend on 27 February 2019 at the Feraren Hills Resort and 100 on 28
February 2019 at the Tamaraw Hall. A total of 200 participants will be invited for the ITAPS Seminar-
workshop.
The venue will be a function room at Feraren Hills Resort, Lumangbayan, Calapan City. White screen and
projector will be used for the lectures.

E. Resource Requirements
Two (2) snacks and lunch will be served during the two day activity. Training Kit (inclusive of pen, bond
paper and handouts to be provided by the Office of the Ombudsman) will also be provided upon
registration. Pentelpens will be used for the group activities.
A tarpaulin will be used to show the title of the event, the facilitators and the implementing organization.
The token for the speakers will include native delicacies, souvenirs and framed Certificate of Appreciation.
Participants will likewise be given Certificates of Participation printed on Cambric Board after completion of
the seminar.
The total of SIXTY EIGHT THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED FORTY THREE PESOS AND 36/100
(PhP68,243.36) will be utilized in this activity which will be charged against the Integrity Management Program
under the Office of the Provincial Governor
Participants and reaction of the participants shall be observed during the program especially in the
open forum.
Feedback from the participants will be taken using a feedback form.
Terminal Report to be submitted to PA’s Office two (2) weeks after the conduct of the activity.
