INTRODUCTION

introduction to the marketing concept to banking sectors can be traced back to


American Banking Association Conference of 1958. Banks marketing can be defined
as the part of management activity, which seems to direct the flow of banking
services profitability to the customers. The marketing concept basically requires that
there should be thorough understanding of customer need and to learn about market
it operates in. Further the market is segmented so as to understand the requirement of
the customer at a profit to the banks.

NEED FOR THE STUDY


Private sector and public sector banks find outs possible output and input .we have to
understand the roles and guidelines of public and private sector bank. then study
about condition and services of the banks and improving the service quality of the
banks. This study helps to know the level of importance of public and private sector
banks.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

Too many regulatory measures imposed by the government on the public and
private banks has resulted in lengthy procedure. The private sector banks are
subjected to unnecessary government control and also suffering from the inadequate
diversification as the government not allow them to participate. Private sector banks
are mobilizing their funds from the bank development financial institutions and
private sector bank have the low ratio of profit
OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY

 To find the bank sector that is largely availed by the customer.


 To study the factors the factors influencing the choice of a bank
 To find and compare the satisfaction level of customers in public sector
 To study the problem faced by customer.
 To get suggestions for improvement or change in the services of public and
private sector banks.
 To study what do people expect in the new era of banking.

Primary data will be collected through survey by means of questionnaire, personal
interview and observations.

PLAN OF ANALYSIS
A study will help the organization by the survey of 80 respondents in the
city by the questionnaire, which leads to measure the public and private
sector bank quality policy. Statistical tools used for the research which helps in
analyzing and interpreting the data collected. Percentage Analysis used to
understand the percentage of certain number of respondents respected to
different questions. Bar graph & Pie Chart have been used to showcase the
graphical representation of the analyzed data. Hence, by this study organization can
easily understand the data and make the interpretation.
