LEASE AGREEMENT

An Agreement made on this (d/m/y) ____ /____, 20 between Mr./Mrs.________________________________


S/D/W/o Mr./Mrs.___________________________________, (hereinafter called the lessor) of the one part and
University of Engineering and Technology through its Registrar, (hereinafter called the lessee) of the other part,
WHEREBY it is agreed as follows: -

1- The lessor shall grant and the lessee shall accept a lease of House
No._________________________________________________________________________________________
for a period of one year with effect from ______________ to ______________ @ Rs.________/- per month for
(name of employee)______________________________________ (Designation)______________(BPS-_____),
Deptt./Section ____________________________________,UET, ________________ payable on the expiry of
each month, out of which the University will pay up to the maximum ceiling to which the employee is entitled
under the rules and the balance by the employee him/her self from his/her own source.

2- The lessee shall enter into the following covenants:


a) To pay all rates, taxes and services bills except the urban immovable property taxes.
b) Not to alter the premises without the lessor’s consent.
c) Use the house for residential purposes only.
3- The lessor will enter into the following covenants:
a) To keep the house in repairs.
b) To white wash and colour wash every year such parts as are now whitewashed or colour washed.
c) To paint woodwork every second year.
4- The lessor and the lessee will express by covenants: -
a- That the lease will be terminable at the option of either party by giving one month notice to the opposite
party of his intention to do so.
b- The lease may be extended on the same terms and conditions by mutual agreement.

5- The lessee agrees at the end of tenancy to leave the said premises including the said fixtures, appurtenances and
affects in a good state condition and repair as they now are, reasonable wear and tear and damages by fire or
storm are exempted.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF the parties here to have hereunder affixed their signatures the day and year first
above mentioned.
