I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the pupils can:
a. Determine the solving strategies in adding two digit numbers,
b. Find the sum of the number given,
c. Participate actively in the given activity; and
d. Show enthusiasm in performing the given activity.

II. SUBJECT MATTER


Topic: Adding two digit numbers
References: Master Your Math 3 pp. 13-15
Materials: Construction Paper, Felt Tip Pen, Cartolina, Bond
paper.

III. PROCEDURE
 Routine activity
a. Classroom Management
b. Prayer
c. Attendance

 Review
 The teacher will ask about the previous lesson.
‘’adding 1 digit number.’’

 Motivation
 The students will sing a song entitled “tsikading”

 Activity
 The students will be divided into two groups
according to their seat rows.
 Each group will be given two bags of candies.
 The student will able to add all the candies given.
 The first group who got the correct answer will be a
winner.
 The activity is consist of 2 minutes
 Analysis
 The teacher will ask about the activity.
1. How did you come up with the activity?
2. What factors you encountered while answering
the activity?
3. What do you think would be our lesson for
today?

 Abstraction
 The teacher will discuss the process in two digit
numbers.

 Add 84 and 35.


 First add the two ones' place digits (4 + 5 = 9).
 Next add the two tens' place digits (8 + 3 = 11).
 The sum of the ones' place digits is less than ten so the
answer is 119

 Application
 The teacher will divide the group again into four groups
(same group)
 each group will be given a flash card.
 The students will going to answer the following on the
flash card given. The first group who will answer quickly,
would be a winner.
IV. ASSIGNMENT
Direction: find the sum of the following
 This assignment will be submitted tomorrow
