CII's National HR Conclave has returned for its 9th edition with this

year's theme being "Talent, Technology & Transformation".

Introduction: The Youth of India will play a pivotal role in helping India Inc realise the
dream of a US$5 trillion Economy while riding the wave of Industry 4.0.
CII invites young professionals to participate in Genesis and share their
ideas with Industry Stalwarts. This unique platform will enable young
voices to shape the agenda on people & workplace of tomorrow. The
participants will get a chance to interact with prominent Industry
leaders, pitch their ideas to them and gain valuable feedback &
insights through the regional & national level interactions.

What's the contest! Are you game for it?


To participate all you require to have is "An Idea for workplace tomorrow"

It can be a Pitch presentation/ An Idea already implemented

The check is that, all these Ideas need to align with any of the 4 themes strongly!

Each idea will be reviewed by CII panel members, the CHRO's of big companies.

Final round pitch should be limited to 15 minutes, 10 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for
questions and answers.
What are the Themes
for presentation?
Digital Mind-set: Are we ready for Industry 4.0?
Industry 4.0 will trigger a reskilling revolution. Emerging technologies such as Internet-of-Things(IoT), Articial
Intelligence(AI), Machine learning(ML) and Big Data are pushing HR to take on a larger role in helping organizations
to be digital, not just do digital. Elaborate on the driving role of HR as a catalyst in this disruption to make the
workplace and workforce digital ready.

Eat. Live. Work. Repeat Is there time for mental wellness?


Our work can provide us a sense of fullment and achievement but can also contribute to stress, unhappiness and
mental ill health. Mental wellness directly impacts wellbeing and productivity at the workplace. How do
organisations focus on Holistic wellbeing, which comprises wellbeing of the Body, Mind, Soul and Spirit and do this
with a 'Humane Touch'.

The “GIG” is up! Are we optimising this talent pool?


The alternative workforce can be a long-term solution to tight talent markets—but only if treated strategically. For
organizations that want to grow and access critical skills, managing alternative forms of employment has become
critical. How do organisations ensure that they leverage and optimize on this differentiated talent pool while also
ensuring emotional connect and superior employee experience?

Do we need to treat millennial differently?


While generational stereotyping is not a new phenomenon, however for millennials it has been exacerbated by
technology's accelerated rate of change. Are Millennials changing the workforce or is it the nature of the work that
has changed?

Guidelines for Participants
Your Final presentation to deliver your pitch should not be more than 6-7 slides.

Include in your pitch your name, your location, industry, Organization and your background.

Share your idea brief and domain in the format provided, please attach support documents as and
when required and back your pitch with research data / gures if necessary.

You may use Design thinking or STAR model to structure your idea
