Mindtree Placement Papers

The Mindtree placement process consists of 4 rounds - a 1 hour written test on aptitude and reasoning, a 45 minute online coding test with 2 programming questions, a technical interview focusing on programming concepts and projects, and a final HR interview assessing communication skills and confidence. Candidates should prepare fundamentals of C/C++, data structures, Java and practice examples from books like R.S. Agarwal to succeed in the written and coding tests, and have programs ready for common interview problems for the technical round.

Mind tree Placement Papers :

1> The test was conducted by Aspiring Minds and the questions were pretty much of the same
level to that of AMCAT. The test comprised of 3 sections quant, verbal and reasoning. It was of
one and half hours.

2> The second round was the coding round. It was an online test and we had to write 2
programming questions in any language of our choice in 45 minutes. the first question was an
easy one that was an array question in which we had to print and count all the numbers which
are less than a given key element from our array.

3> The second question was a pattern question and it some some time to code

4> Coding round consisted of two questions with time limit of 45 min and it's a online test. I got

1) Removal of vowel from string and,

2) GCD programs.

5> In programming, prepare problems on patterns, strings and just focus on logic of the program.

6> OOPS concepts, Inheritance program and application, JDBC connection steps and if possible
program too.

7> every concept of C/C++ starting from class, structure, polymorphism, inheritance, pointers
etc also to write programs on virtual functions, pure virtual functions, linked list, strings

8> The Hr round consisted of general Hr questions like tell me about yourself, about company,
hobbies, interests, short term goals, long term goals, career growth and stuff like that

**************************

1> The drive consists of 4 elimination rounds:

1. Written Test (Aptitude, Reasoning & English-1 hr).

2. Coding Test (Two Questions-45 min).

3. Technical Interview.

4. HR Interview.

Written Test (1 hr):

In this round the test consist of questions from aptitude (Time & work, Time & distance,
area, probability and permutation) , Reasoning (Syllogism, blood relation, series
completion and analogies) , English (2 Passage (simple) , antonyms, synonyms and basic
grammar questions). The test was quite easy just practice the examples of R.S. Agarwal,
it is sufficient enough to crack the test. Moreover this is an Adaptive Test so time
management is required.

Coding Test (45 min):

In this test we were given two programming questions one easy and another one average.
Don't try to solve both the questions. Since the time limit is less so just try to develop the
logic of the problem and solve at least one problem completely and other one just code
the logic part. However you need to be a good coder in order to crack this test.

Technical Interview:

In this round they were asking about your B.Tech projects and basic questions on C, C++,
Data Structure and JAVA. Also they will ask you to write a complete program with output
on any problem like factorial number using array, Matrix multiplication, linked list,
Operator Overloading, Inheritance, etc. So to crack this round you need to prepare well
the basics as well some of important interview problems.

HR Interview:

This round is the most important final round as the HR will check your confidence level and
communication skills
