ADS-B/TRANSPONDER FAILURE MODES DESCRIPTION

When the selected transponder receives an ADS-B fail condition, the

display shows ‘ADSB FAIL’. The ADSB fail indicator will also be
illuminated. The panel continues to transmit ATC and Flight ID codes and
mode settings.

G7614-621

While an ADS-B failure is present, any front panel input will return the
panel to normal operation. The ADSB indicator will remain
illuminated as long as the ADS-B failure persists.

G7614-621

In a transponder fail condition, the display shows ‘XPDR FAIL’; all front
panel selections will be inoperable except 1/2 and TEST pushbuttons. If
an ADS-B failure is also present, the ADSB annunciator will illuminate.
